On a beautifully crisp December morning we had the pleasure to glam Gabriella and her bridesmaids at the incredible Rosewood London. Planned to perfection by Primrose Weddings the theme was understated, elegant and luxuriously festive.
The brief for bridesmaids was beautifully glowing, with a classic bouncy blow dry. Warm bronze tones perfectly complimented their emerald green dresses. As all the bridesmaids had an olive complexion, we used the Hourglass Radiant Bronze Light to give a golden glow, paired with glossy lips in rose and nude hues. Kiko has an excellent selection of gloss colours that aren't sticky and have good longevity.
Once the bridesmaids were all glammed it was time for the bride! We always recommend a trial to ensure the morning runs smoothly and the overall look has essentially been signed off by the bride, and WOW what a look!! 90's supermodel inspired glam and crystal studded waved hair was created by our founder Carla and hairstylist Maxx.
Hair was prepped with our favourite L'Oreal Pli Spray - this is a heat activated spray which ensures your style will hold for as long as possible, think of it as a hair primer. Once the hair had been styled into loose hollywood waves, Maxx set with hairspray and applied individual crystals. This look works wonders on all hair types, and can also be used if you are going for a sleek hair up.
Next up was the makeup, which focussed on matte finishes and neutral colours. Gabriella had great skin so we used a minimal amount of base and finished off with the Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless powder.
The Viseart Neutral Matte palette was used on the eyes - if you have never tried their eyeshadows then please do - they are world famous in the makeup industry, and probably most makeup artist's best kept secret! The texture and colour pay off is second to none and beats many top end makeup brands.
Sweed 'No Lash' Individual lashes were applied followed with lots of Hourglass Caution mascara.
The look was finished with a defined glossy lip, which was a great contrast to the rest of the look and paired perfectly with the bridesmaids.
